Executive Assistant

The Natural Family Planning Association (NFPA) is a small service agency which is a registered charitable organization. Serving women and couples throughout the greater Toronto area, the Natural Family Planning Association is part of an international network. 

The mission of the Natural Family Planning Association is to teach the Billings Ovulation Method of family planning while promoting an understanding and appreciation of fertility that reflects Catholic teachings as outlined in Humanae Vitae.  We serve the entire community regardless of religious background: single women, married and engaged couples, adolescents as well as those who provide teaching and counseling to them.

Are you a dependable and responsible worker who is experienced in administration? 

The Executive Assistant will implement the Strategic Plan, ensuring completion of the deadlines on time and on budget; execute the fundraising projects; monitor risks; prepare the Catholic Charities allocation package; implement policies; and support NFPA’s programs, reporting to the NFPA board of directors. This contract is a paid, part-time position.
The successful candidate will demonstrate versatile hands-on administrative skills, paying attention to details while keeping sight of the whole picture. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a requirement for this position. The successful candidate embodies NFPA’s mission and values. Experience in financial management is advantageous. Having past experience with volunteer agencies or charities is very beneficial. This person will work closely with and maintain open communication with other staff, Program Director, Board of Directors, Teachers, Trainees and other volunteers. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a supervisor.
